Studies of Religion

By | Copyright Year:2006 | ISBN-13: 9780170127929

Published:26/10/2005
Studies of Religion has been written to meet the requirements of the new Studies of Religion syllabus, 2006.

This new text emphasises the holistic study of religious traditions and provides substantial material on the three new studies included in the syllabus.

Five major religious traditions are introduced in the first half of the text and are explored in greater depth in the second half.

This text also offers a range of stimulating activities and case studies that relate to the role of religion and religious expression.

In this way, students are encouraged to reflect upon the nature of religion in Australian society and throughout the world.

The writing team has had extensive experience in the planning, implementation and teaching of Religious Studies at secondary school and higher education levels.
