Factual Books
The Fast Forward Factual Books feature a contents page, a glossary of terms and an index to ensure students understand how reading differs between fiction and factual texts. Visual communicators such as timelines, graphs, charts, maps and fact boxes have been used wherever possible to deliver, or further explain information.

Fiction Books
Fast Forward Fiction Books provide a variety of different styles and genres to appeal from nine to 14 year-olds. They feature compelling storylines and clearly defined characters, some of which recur throughout the series. All books have a contemporary appearance, with illustrations reflecting the age of the reader while still providing a close text/illustration match to support students.

Teacher’s Guides and Teacher’s CD-ROM
The comprehensive Fast Forward Teacher’s Guides have been written to ensure everyone from trained specialists to classroom teachers can implement the program. Each teacher’s guide features implementation recommendations, curriculum links, teaching notes, 4 activity sheets for each title (comprehension, vocabulary, phonics and writing), assessment sheets and graphing and planning pro formas.
